When should I arrive for My first Class?  Arrive about 10-15min earlier so you will have time to fill out your Liability wavier and get to a tour of the studio.

What should I wear for the first day of class?  We recommend wearing Capri's/shorts and a tank top.   


I have really dry skin should I Lotion/oil up before class?    Absolutely Not!, the dryer the better. Lotions and oils can make it more challenging when learning how to pole.

Pole Forte (strengthening)

In this class we work on tightening and toning your body to help you move forward in your pole journey. No Experience Needed and Suitable for All levels. 

Pole Dance: Danse avec moi (Dance with me)

In this class the instructor will teach you a sassy little routine each week for you to take home. Learn how to move with the pole. No experience Needed and Suitable for All 


**High Heels are welcome but not necessary.**

Beginner

If you have never been on a pole and have been eager to try it. This is where your journey begins.....This class teaches you the basics of pole, from starting climbing to learning how to do basic floor tricks.  

Intermediate

Have some skills? and not sure where to start? This is the place for you. If you have been taking classes at Pole Amour, you must have approval from you beginner pole instructor to move up. This helps keep you safe on your journey. 

Novice

Increase your skills more by learning more challenging moves as well as combos.

Advance

 Increase your skills even more by learning more challenging moves as well as combos.

YIN

  Suitable for all levels.  Yin Yoga helps you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Holding poses for 2-5 minutes.  

Gentle

Suitable for all levels; Gentle yoga is slow moving, gentle stretches. Working with breath and meditation to help calm the mind. Mostly done seated, lying down on back and belly.

Restorative

 Suitable for all levels; Restorative yoga  is very relaxing and gentle class. Very different from any other yoga. Moving into comfortable poses and letting go. Using props to help reach the maximum level of relaxation. This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tension from the body and mind.

What Is Zumba?

A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. This workout program features movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and is performed primarily to Latin  American dance music. In recent years, has been incorporated to other types as well .

Zumba was created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s
